norman AV vs a-squared AV
Hi, does anyone have used both A-squared antivirus and Norman antivirus? Can you tell me which one is better in term of:
1. Detected
2. Resource
3. Compatibility (with outpost firewall.)
Review is for Antivirus. Not for the whole suite.

I checked this site http://www.virusbtn.com/index to check the results.Ikarus hasn't been tested since last year and it failed then.Norman passes the latest test but it was the suite. The last time I used Outpost it worked fine with Avira free but that's still no help to you
In regards to detection the 2 you mentioned doesn't rank at the top. There's better alternatives out there.Just a thought.

I have 1 key for Norman AV, And 1 key for A-squared antivirus. Just want to know which is better. I heard that Norman AV is heavy in System Resource. Not sure about A-squared antivirus?

Erm....I don't know about the detection, compatibility and resource but my 'instincts' tell me that you are better off using A-squared antivirus...
P.S. Or perhaps you can consider Avira...even the free version will do...Avira is known for its high detection rates, low system resource usage and is compatible with most other security software (including outpost firewall).
They call me the mysterious one...

I'm currently using Avira AV with outpost firewall. I always go with Avira. You can call me Avira AV advertiser (don't get paid).

No idea abt Norman but A-Squared uses abt 90MB for its service and abt 10-20MB for its remaining processes...I installed it many times even the latest version n its resource consumption was the same...
This is the Registered version with realtime no idea abt free one..."Positivity Is The Key To Life, Never Loose It."

Avira Antivir is the best free antivirus out there, and it is better than most paid antiviru programs as well! It uses low system resources as well.
Stick to Avira and dump that POS A squared AV and Norman AV.
I personally use NOD32 FTW but I do swear by Avira AntVir
