I think it's just Iolo trying to sell more of it's products, because it knows it's got a small market with Vista, so to attack 7 is what's new and what everyone will be buying for soon.

Iolo didn't work one year ago with Vista. How long will it take them to get onboard with W7?. Forget Iolo, as they are always at least one year behind the 'curve'. My opinion is that they are amateurs in what they do. If you have old equipment, running on an old system, they might be able to offer you something, but if you have an advanced machine with a modern OS, they will not even acknoledge that you exist...MHO!!!

Study: Windows 7 can boot more slowly than Vista

Iolo Technlogies, which sells PC tune-up software, said its lab unit found that a new machine running Windows 7 takes one minute and 34 seconds to become usable, as compared to one minute and six seconds for Windows Vista.

System Mechanic is the right solution,oh not this time?... It really depends on your Hardware,today it won't be an issue if you have higher post vista system specs.
