I'm sure that Bill Gates has a large portion of stock within Microsoft, so he is definitely getting a good chunk of change.

Bill Gates actually gives more to charity than any other human being on the planet! It now runs into Billion$. I used to live about a block away from their temporary HQ (The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) in Seattle. I have met the man, and we talked about charity, not software. Believe me, he is actually a kind and generous man. Say what you may about him, but the UNICEF has stated that his efforts in Africa has saved thousands of lives of children living in Africa alone. His OS may not be what you want, his business model may not be what you want, but he has given billions back to those who need it most! If every reader on this forum were to donate one million dollars towards his foundation, we could not match what he has already spent!
Mankind hates what it fears, and fears what it cannot understand.
Therefore, hatred is a by-product of ignorance!

For once, I hear something good about him...it's rare to see people praising him...sometimes man just forget to say thanks and only look at the other party's fault. Good job, Polkadot

P.S. You are VERY lucky to meet him in person...not everyone gets the chance

    A bit OT

True enough, I admired your post and thanks for sharing this to our fellow forum mates. I once had written a report during college. The subject is about corporate social responsibility and I cited it as an example.
