Windows experiece index keeps crashing
I am sure this is due to Kaspersky 2010 ,both on windows 7 and vista since installing, WEI will go 90% of the way before returning the error that it cant continue .
On win 7 it saying can be computed due to a error been reported from the OS, driver or other component.
On vista just the usual this as stopped working,in unusual way.

Well i also got the same problem as your's...thinking that kaspersky involve in this matter is not true as i didn't have any problem with it on vista...but on win 7, i got that crash 2..thinking that the driver problem is the reason, naah all driver is install n working properly...but after i installing win 7,(clean installation n no 3rd party software install) the WEI is working...well maybe...something is missing here..lol...expected 2 be the KIS too...as ur's have the probs in vista..

humm,,maybe it's the latest version of kis (9.0.0.736) 2010 version...b4 this,i've been using version older than that, 9.0.0.XXX got no probs on vista...have you try to unistall it n test the WEI?

I can see what there on about. but on win 7 it was working before hand.
yeh the old version as in (9.0.0.463) is not a good idea, thats why they had a critical update to (9.0.0.736).
Off Kas website Please Note! Only versions 9.0.0.736 (Critical Fix 2) and higher are compatible with Windows 7.Last edited by snarff; 11-05-2009 at 12:08 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
