I think we can update offline for Norton by downloading here: http://www.symantec.com/business/sec...il.jsp?gid=n95, only choose your correct antivirus version and OS version.

Hello All, I want to use AntiVirus Software that can save update Virus definition to hard disk for future use when I reinstall Windows again and for my network computer which I update offline from save Virus Definition file from my LAN Computer or Pen Drive, not to make an New AntiVirus Software. Because I have limited use internet connection (1 GB per month). Updating All network computer AntiVirus software online again from starting consume my Internet Connection Limit. I have used KIS 2010 it save virus definition to my local disk and update my KIS2010 again to till date without internet connection (offline) from my Local Disk or Pen Drive but slow down my system at startup and scanning time. So i go for Bitdefender. But BIS2010 is unable to save virus definition to local disk as KIS2010. So I ask same question for Norton IS 2010. Because I want to use Norton or Bitdefender now. Can I not ask same question for another product?

Ah! you've made yourself clear now. if you'd done this before, we could help you earlier. Sorry if you felt bad. I was just joking.

RE: your problem, have you tried this? you can install NIS and download the update files once. like in a month. so you'll be able to save your bandwidth and even stay protected.
