Yeah it's legal and they are giving out free license. Just like AVG.

Can anyone plz tell me from where i can download the Standard version of Webroot Spyware...for which this subscription is? Coz from the webroot site...Only Scan Only Trial version can be downloaded for which this subscription is not required...:(

What do you mean by standard version of Webroot Spyware? The link on the first post allows you to get free 12-month Spy Sweeper subscription.

You are right Raymond but the problem is that you can only download the setup file of the Scan Only version of Webroot spyware.I downloaded it and when i installed it, it never asked about the subscription Key....Instead it asked me to purchase the software...Thats why i asked you that if it is possible to download the fully functional setup file of webroot spyware!!!!!

Same here ...I tried that..Yah it's part of their secure activation process ...You need to have an account to purchase it ..I couldn't use the key ...
