    Search any good software to remove halfuninstalled program

    my computer resatred when i was installing mcafee half way. now i cant install it again. i tried to use McAfee consumer product remover but no go. is there any way i can remove it by any software or something. i deleted the folders. but the reg keys are locked. it says acces denied. i tried tuneup reg edit it says error5. i need help plz.

    There should be a service or something related to McAfee that auto starts during Windows startup eventhough the installation failed. Try checking services.msc and disable any McAfee entries.

    Download Your Uninstaller 2008 here and use it to delete all the corrupted or invalid uninstalled program keys in registry.

    nopes not working. i tried to delete all the regenrites in safe mode by no go. my mom is shouting at me so im formating thkz guys.
    BTW: raymond there were two services but were disabled

    I had the same problem when my PC froze during the McAfee installation. Never call their support service because those calls are useless. Anyway, try revo uninstall and reinstall it again.

    That's the problem I encountered ( due to self defence features) before on Mcafee Total Security - I f0rcefully delete all the entries and reinstall it again/uninstall and never use it forever

    Try Unlocker to delete it or Locked Files Wizard 2.02

    problem fixed. the problem was a half installed software along with some set-up files damaged. i installed the beta again and then uninstaled it. then i got utkarsh30june mcafee set-up which saved me from formatting.
    BTW: unlocker doesn't delete reg entries.
    and ceyfer can u tell me how u forcefully removed the entries

    there is a tool called mcafee_mcpr it is a cleaner sor mcafee products thats installed to your pc you can use that in order to clean all mcafee entries in your pc. let me know if you still want it shan i can send it to your add,
