    Youtube extracting

    Hi guys,

I am looking for a freeware tool to extract sound from youtube videos. I know about all those websites or programs that do this but I only want to extract a certain part. For example, from 1:34 until 6:45 (eg not all the sound of the video)

Not be the good thing to do - the method I use is -> I downloaded the .flv file using IDM then just convert via (converter software - adjust it then / cut the necessary parts ) Xilisoft (shareware) = Mp3

YouTube has a fast forward feature where you can just click anywhere in the red player bar and the video will start to buffer from that position, not from the beginning.

I'd think that by using Splicd, you can trim the video to your specified time, then download it then convert. Or probably, you could grab it's source using Firebug then converting it online with Flv to Mp3 converters, etc vixy.net.
