    He installed Norton 360 on it and his monitor went black.I figured I would post a log to make sure that was clean.Is there a way I can test a video card?The strange thing is this computer was fully upgraded about 2 years ago.

    Did he install it while Avira was running? Because I do notice Avira running there...

    I don't know of any reason why it would do that. Only thing I could think of is perhaps his ram is dying and it took up too much. But even then, I couldn't be sure, since as we all know, I hate Norton and will not run it.

    As for a video card test, this should work

    I ran their removal tool to get rid of Norton first.I'll give that tool a run and then give memtest a run after and see if they finds anything.
