I personally cannot take Kaspersky seriously in the AV picture BECAUSE they still have not come up with a program that will run on 64bit systems. Yesterday, they 'updated' their 'Removal Tool', but once again, it is for 32bit systems!!! As advanced as they claim to be, WHY can they NOT come up with a system that runs on 64bit machines?????

Based on the test the issue was

It was clearly stated at Kasper site

"Please Note: Safe Run Mode doesn’t work with Microsoft Windows XP x64, and works with limitations on Microsoft Windows Vista x64"

    Well on the 64 reqt.

"Limitations" huh? It works just fine when my machine is turned OFF!!
I have turned down numerous 'free keys' because they still have not coded a package that will function on my x64 Vista (nor my 64 Win7). Every time I have tried them, I end up having to uninstall it the same day. If the freebies can get it right, why can't Kaspersky?
