    Cool PC Tools Firewall 2nd on List: Matousec

    Hi Guys,
    Just visited Matousec and found out that in their latest test of PC Tools Firewall the result was awesome which took PC Tools Firewall to the Top 3 on the list....
    Its placed 2nd...

    Looks Like PC Tools working hard to get their product to the hit list, HOPe it always remains Free...

    Now after that crappy thing happening with Comodo and Ask stuff people can switch from Comodo n Online Armor Free to this one by PC Tools...
    I really dont like the Free one of Online Armor...

    Hope there's improvement in the left over takin it to the First position...

    Anyone tried PC tools firewall before?

    What I am scared is after Symantec comes in and said PC tools must not be free anymore since they are now owned by Symantec and they will be a part of Norton. Grrr....

    I was just sayning. Since they brought up Sygate, and their firewall ranking is now at 66%, I am sure they will turn their eyes to PC tools since PC tools firewall is much higher than the current Norton, and PC tools is already under them, it won't be long before PC tools is integrated into the Norton products.

    Just my two cent.

    I'm glad to see PC Tools Firewall Plus 6.0 on the top,
    I used PC Tools FW Plus 4.0 more than a year ago and I was pretty satisfied.
    Unfortunately I got some problems with v 5.0 (some applications not responding), I think I'll try this version for sure.
    And I like PC Tools ThreatFire too: an impressive HIPS with rootkit scanner

    You dont need a beast Machine for Running the Firewall, a normal config one would do...

    HIPS: They have ThreatFire for that...so use that along...

    Hmm.. But i guess Kaspersky's Proactive is Good enough then, y use any other???


    If u want an HIPS try Arovax Shield...
    They may go with each other...
