sir,
i have set my BIOS settings to default, & i hope my two HDD 80gb & 160GB are detected by cd, still after when CD starts, i click on start knoppix us option or console mode option, i see lines of text across my pc screen, it in between somewhere its written that unknown variable $ha ,but in last when it loads some modules, i think AGP ones...it all goes to blank gray scren & nothing happens

kindly advise dat how can i fix this issue & use bitdefender cd to remove virus/malware/spyware in my system.

It could be that your graphic card is not well detected by the live cd. I've experienced that while using an Ophcrack LiveCD. Try using alternatives such as Avira, Kaspersky's Live CDs.

i do not have any hardware problem in my pc, but i do not understand that why it all goes to blank gray scren & nothing happens after lines of text scroll on booting from screen , like first screen shown in website?

i have burned cd correctly, still.....pls guide

No no, you misunderstand him.

Linux might not support your system, making it not work.

thats not the case boss, i installed & use linux on same sysytem (UBUNTU) an year ago && it worked alrite.............wass not?? wats problem?????

Ubuntu supports a lot more then GENTOO (what their LIVECD runs) does.

How much ram and CPU power do you have?

i have core2duo processor 2.2 GHZ Earlier i had 1GB RAM & now i have 1GB + 512MB RAM, with 2 hard disks 80 GB & 160 GB


another issue......... as recomended to me in entries above , i even tried AVIRA rescue cd....but there also it says load modules/load ___ & this msg is greyed out + the scan button is too greyed out.

Kindly advise me boss what to do....
