It's funny how some people are using this as an excuse to attack China.
Perhaps they should try governing 1.3 BILLION people across such a vast area before making "informed" comments.
At least the US government hasn't forced companies to give out private data....OH!
I don't use 360 and the problems with Malwarebytes(which I do use)doesn't give me any reason to start now.
I do use ASC on one of my pcs and it hasn't caused me any problems-in fact the sytstem runs well.I'll stick with it until something better comes along.

True...I find it strange too. Just because a company comes from China doesn't mean it's unreliable or untrustworthy...I'm not saying Iobit is right or wrong but I find it lame for people to pin-point and add weight to the issue with geographical and political aspects....
P.S. I'm not affiliated with Iobit or China in any way. Neutral feelings here...no love nor hate.
They call me the mysterious one...
my motto is...when it's hot, chill baby

But they didn't admit to be guiltyWe have apologized for all the inconvenience
Perhaps their conduit toolbar prechecked (and unnecessary) do not generate sufficient income?IObit would like to work with all anti-malware vendors, to enhance the overall evolution of malware detection and removal

>We are willing to face all of the problems and take responsibility for the disputes.
This seems pretty clear to me.
Of course it would be better if they come right out and admitted/apologised to Malwarebytes but that would cost them more money in any settlement and no company from anywhere in the world would do that.
I won't ever use their 360 software but they seem to be attempting to move on.

How good is Malwarebytes? If Iobit is using their database and lets stuff like that install then how good is Malwarebytes? Anyone know?

It seems like I read somewhere that Malwarebytes was rated #1 for an on demand scanner.
