It's definitely a faulty "key" on your keyboard.
You can try hitting the - (dash) key really hard a few times to make sure it's not stuck.
If you don't want to change your keyboard because you don't really use the dash key, then block it.

I had hit the dash key hard enough ..i hope that problem is resolved .
it was fun anyway
