what is "Spam"??? who creates them??

sometimes,i get loads of pseudo email msgs informing me that i've been selected as a winner for various things..i know they are spam.... i want to know who creates this & for what purpose???

Spam is cruddy meat and it's made by the makers of canned ham.

As for email spam, anyone can make it, but it's mostly made to make money.

You'd be shocked how many people fall for it... I've actually got a person I talk to who thinks she's due for a quarter billion from all the spam she's gotten.

My Parent went to fill out a spam thing but I quickly told her not to. Spam is nasty don't fall for it.

Spam is done mainly to con money and then there are people who do it to irritate others too, like in blogs.

7 main reasons for spam (that I can think of right now):

1) Money...cheat gullible fools who think they win money for lotteries that they don't even participate in or even those made in other countries
2) Money...cheat gullible fools who think there's a rich person who's gonna die soon (or already dead) and had put inheritance for them worth millions despite they being strangers to one another
3) Money...cheat people into buying stuffs that don't even exist...or are not worth the price at all
4) Spread viruses and malware through people who can't resist to click on HOT pictures (porn and stuffs)
5) Spread viruses and malware through people who think it's their friend that sends them that 'seemingly-innocent' but actually 'a devil-in disguise' message
6) Spread viruses and malware through gullible fools who reads email and click on every single attachment without thinking twice
7) Just for fun....spam can be fun you know...hehehe

There are different kind of SPAM.
Forum spam also exists and it can be very dangerous
