VIPRE support person reply is adequate. VIPRE signature detections are good too. I especially like their heuristics/generic detections, which detects generically numerous malicious files (Trojan.Generic.BT or something like that) with minimum false positive. I have already tested VIPRE Antivirus Premium (4.0.3282) for two weeks in Windows XP VM.
MBAM is good supplement for any antivirus, although it needs scan and update optimizations for even better results. I have already submitted my suggestions at MBAM forum.Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate x86 + KIS 2011 (11.0.2.556 b.a.c.d) + Sandboxie Paid (3.54) + Deep Freeze Standard (7.20.020.3398)

Thanks for comment!
I ment it's possible analyze a statement like that in two ways when someone telling "we protect what other's do not" both serious and non seriously.
I mean, it would be foolish to believe if a product can guarantee the unknown
Ok advanced Heuristic is one but it can't prevent everything nor false positive's.
Assume they mentioned to be good in proactive defence of course but in the same time it's never wrong to act a bit skeptical as we dealing with companies and salesmen there one of the biggest interests is to selling their products and get the news out on the market. That's how it worked for a long time in this business and it appear almost even more in these days since the social media like Twitter and Facebook became invented & used for advertisements.
I mean how much of the information on vendors websites/blogs/newsletters can be seen as serious & reliable in a global perspective compared with all others when so many include salestactical strategys were everyone wants to appear as the best one out there among competitors with one single purpose in catch new customers?
Must say that I like this new way in how vendors started to collaborate with the market by provide free promotions and offers. For instance Comodo that provide users with 100% free products for home users, I think that's a great solution.
Mainly because it might reduce much of the economical interests which now been one of the desires all these vendors had on their users and customers.
By instead put more of the energy on tests and improvements I think it wouldn't be a surprise if these vendors suddenly knew in how to protect us even better and start to deal with what's really important.
From my point of view, I do not care which one of the football teams that are the best one of personal taste. Most important they know how to play good football

The only issue I have is that CounterSpy has been around a long time- maybe 8-9 years? And FWIU CS and its engine/sigs were supposed to be integrated into VIPRE. Maybe missed older virus can be explained by the Sunbelt help response, and 8-9 years ago antispyware programs were not that great at detecting trojans either...but if there is some older spyware that went undetected by VIPRE I would have to question the reasons given by Sunbelt.

You can also see Vipre's result which is poor but I wouldn't make a decision on that so I am using both Vipre and MBAM at present in my system. When I asked a support specialist of Vipre if it has skipped some file types and about the poor score he answered me these.
Which MicroWorld product do you have tested?
