    Question! Should I switch from BitDefender to Avira? I hear Avira detections are extremely good, and that it's somewhat light. Now, BitDefender detects a lot of...ummm....certain programs that activate products for free, and I'm not sure about Avira. So, should there be a switch?

    BitDefender shareware version is better than avira (i haven't tried either of them). If you are using the free version of bitdefender, then switch over to avira.

    Avira does detect very good and i heard it is very light but i havn't heard much about BitDefender

    Wow, Avira detects a lot more stuff than BitDefender on AV-Comparitives. I use BitDefender Shareware. I'm talking about Avira Premium vs. BitDefender shareware.

    I tried BitDefender shareware before and it is pretty good in detection. However, one thing I don't like about it is it auto deletes all my "dangerous" files such as keygenerators, patches and etc...

    Avira is alot better than BitDefender in detection and in footprint
