    is it a virus??? is there anyway i can save it without reformatting it??? i'm using another com now...

    Try this:

    Go to your Control Panel >> System >> Advanced tab >> Startup and Recovery section >> Settings

    In the System Failure section, make sure Automatically restart is unchecked

    If Marks solution does not help, I suggest restarting you PC in Safe mode. I also suggest scaning PC with good AV

    @gabjus: Did scan your computer for virus? if yes, then which software you used for cleaning it?

    i used Kaspersky n when into safemode (the only mode that does not restart my com) to run it... however... nothing came out when i did the scan... :s

    i suggest u to try what Solaris told. if ur computer doesnt have a virus or something ur system files must have got deleted or it must be a hardware failure.

    if im not wrong u r infected by Virus..try what Solaris told...and if it is windows run install the latest anti virus to remove that virus..

    you cant rule out hardware failiure because hardware failiure tends to stop in safe mode.

    been trying Solaris told.. however... when i boot my com from the cd drive.. i dun get the blue screen... it jus goes into windows straight n den the loop starts again of restarting my com... i tried to isolate it by only allowing to boot from CD/DVD n nothing else... but den the cd won't run at all (yup my cd/dvd is configured already)... i tried to run it from another com n this time it says "boot from cd", den a messege "Press F11 for emergency recovery"... n if i dun do anything... it goes to the windows mode as if i didn't put the cd in at all... :s
