Click on the Norton tray icon in the lower left of your screen. On NIS 2009, there should be a Quarantine option. Click on it.

I probably am the least qualified to answer this, but normally AV's have a quarantine folder in which the quarantined files are kept. It probably will be a sub folder of NIS or in Local settings\Temp

    Goto quarrantine.

Select a threat/virus > Click in More Details from right pane > detailed Alert Summary windows comes up > select Risk Details at the bottom > goto Details tab > Affected Area

I don't know about NIS 2009. But the above steps is for NAV 2009.

    help remove 're-direct' virus...

Can anyone help me to remove a 're-direct' virus??

When I clicked on any of the links on prashanthpai 's recommendations
for virus removal, I get the old "Internet Explorer cannot display the
webpage" cause my 'internet' seems to be infected with a virus (which just popped up again - something like King Casino - ahhh ).

Does anyone have any other suggestions to remove the virus or I guess I'm going to have to take the hard drive to someplace to get it cleaned off....

    Help, please

If you get popups like King Casino, I think your computer is infected by spyware.
Install SpyBot, update and boot your computer to Safe Mode. Run the scan from Safe Mode.
