    Windows7 -120days free

I'm sure that many of you have tried Windows7, or would like to. Several sites have now posted 'final release' copies. The rub is that they do not include activation keys. Do not worry, as M$ will allow you to use this copy for 30 days without an activation key. After 30 days, it will commit hari kari. Once the OS has been installed, the time clock begins clicking down to 30 days, unless you buy a key.
To see where your time-clock stands:
Click "Start", right click "Computer", and then click "Properties". At the bottom of the pop-up window the days remaining will be displayed.

What they do not tell you is that you can reset that time clock 3 times! Wait until the final day of your 'trial period', and do the following:

Windows 7 ships (in all forms/versions) with a program called Software License Manager (slmgr.exe). This essentially resets the time clock back to 30 days, and can be used for a maximum of three times before it itself 'expires'.

    Start cmd as "Administrator"
    type: slmgr -rearm (Enter)
    Reboot

You are good for another 30 days!

EDIT: Do not forget to backup all of your programs and data every 119 days (a good practice anyway) before you reload that original DVD for another 120 free days! LOL

It gets you an illegal license, but yes, one none the less.

Completely legal: it uses a program that ships with Windows. If they didn't want us to use it, they wouldn't have included it.
